DADU Addition with Deck Connection, East Nashville, Tennessee
This project adds a three-story DADU to an existing single-family home on a steeply sloped site, expanding the overall living capacity while maintaining a strong physical connection to the main house through a shared deck. The design takes advantage of the changing grade to create a walkout lower level and organize the program across three distinct floors.The DADU includes a primary suite, office, laundry, screen porch, and additional bedrooms, with a flexible lower level that opens to the backyard. Overall, the project extends the functionality of the existing home by integrating new living spaces into the site conditions and strengthening the relationship between indoor spaces and the landscape.
Residential Remodel in Madison, Tennessee
This project is an interior remodel of an existing residence with no exterior changes. The main focus was to improve functionality by reorganizing the kitchen, living, and dining areas into a more open and connected layout, while upgrading bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets for better use.The basement was transformed from a storage-heavy level into a usable living space, including a den, playroom, kitchenette, bathroom, and storage areas.Overall, the project improves how the existing house works by making the layout more efficient and livable.
3-Car Garage Addition in Berrys Chapel, Franklin, Tennessee
This project seamlessly integrates a large three-car garage addition while expanding the existing interior playroom, utilizing a new connecting volume and the site's natural slope to resolve complex floor elevations. Through strategic design choices—such as a side-entry orientation, matching rooflines, and an asymmetrical door layout—the massive visual weight of the addition is successfully mitigated, achieving a balanced and dynamic harmony with the original architecture.
Residential Remodel & DADU, Haynies Heights, Nashville, Tennessee
This project reworks an existing residence and introduces a DADU to better organize the overall program and respond to the site’s steep terrain. Interior spaces in the main house were adjusted to improve usability and flow, while the new addition was carefully positioned within the slope using retaining walls. The upper level of the DADU is oriented to engage with distant outdoor amenities, including a planned pool area, extending the visual connection across the site.
A Holistic Home Redesign in Crieve Hall, Nashville, Tennessee
This strategic, cost-effective renovation transforms a two-bedroom house into a cohesive four-bedroom home by introducing a rear primary suite, converting the existing garage, and opening up the core living spaces. By minimizing major demolition, the design seamlessly integrates these interior upgrades with a new front porch and attached carport, establishing fluid circulation and a balanced exterior.

The existing front entry porch was redesigned to establish a more cohesive relationship with the main house through revised roof proportions, adjusted elevations, and a more contemporary structural expression, resulting in a more balanced architectural composition.
