Bean Station

Bean Station is situated along the shores of Cherokee Lake in Grainger County, recognized as a historic crossroads where the Great Indian Warpath and Daniel Boone’s Wilderness Road once converged. Established in 1776 by pioneer William Bean, it is celebrated as one of Tennessee’s earliest permanent settlements and once hosted a massive 40-room brick tavern.
