Preserving History, Envisioning a Vibrant Future:
Our design captures the essence of Africatown's cultural significance. The museum aims to provide visitors with a culturally immersive experience, allowing them to explore and understand their heritage through visual materials left by their ancestors. The thoughtful integration of indoor galleries with outdoor spaces creates a seamless connection inspired by African architecture. Additionally, our design for the Memorial Gateway serves as a powerful symbol of encouragement, commemorating the past while inspiring hope for the future.
The Spirit of Regeneration and Creativity:
In the Spa Hotel + Convention Center, we sought to create a space that promotes the regeneration of the mind, body, and spirit. The hotel's design incorporates elements of nature, such as water features and green spaces, to provide a serene and healing environment. The convention center, with its flexible floor plan and maximum outdoor connectivity, encourages creativity and community engagement. We intend to offer guests a rejuvenating experience that celebrates African culture and its healing traditions.
The African Performance Arts Center embodies the spirit of creativity. With its organic form and North-oriented amphitheater seating, the center offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding natural scenery. The design includes flexible spaces for performances, workshops, and creative expression, fostering a sense of limitless possibilities. We aim to celebrate African art and inspire individuals to explore their creative potential within the backdrop of nature's beauty.
